Having spent time cold outreaching to professionals across the industry on my own initiative, I’ve seen how important and daunting building a network can be, especially at the start with no connections. Reaching out, finding the right people, and maintaining relationships is something I’ve been doing for myself, and I want to use that to create opportunities for other WinF members.

Alongside maintaining our existing relationships with firms, I would also work to continue expanding the WinF network.

I also care strongly about peer mentorship. Formal events with senior professionals are valuable, but there are questions students won’t ask in that setting, such as how to prepare for an assessment centre, navigate certain environments, or where to start developing skills. Those conversations often happen with someone just a year or two ahead. I want to create more opportunities for WinF students to connect with those who have recently completed spring weeks, internships, graduated and entered the industry.

I’m standing because the role fits the way I already work, and because I want to help build the kind of network I’ve been trying to create for myself, but for everyone in WinF.
