Sara Jangam

I'm Sara Jangam, a second-year Management Science student, and I want to turn my network into our network. 

Through my job at Mello Investor Events, I've built connections with investors, fund managers, and bankers. As Head of Events, I'd use them to create real opportunities for women in finance. Here is my vision for WinF Society:

Weekly Webinars with fund managers teaching us how to build and pitch real funds. This leads into a Fund-Pitch Challenge judged by industry professionals. The prize? Not just typical cash prizes, but winners also receiving free tickets to exclusive investment conferences featuring world-famous speakers. It's about getting women in finance into the rooms where real conversations happen.

Finance, Fashion & Purpose: I want to continue my work with Smart Works (a charity supporting women re-entering the workplace) through styling workshops, clothing drives, and volunteer days. As we break into finance, I believe we should be lifting other women up too.

Socials: As Social Executive for the School of Management Society, I've organised pilates, pub night, and musical night socials. I'll bring that energy to WinF, with relaxed networking brunches and socials where we connect without formal pressure.
