Hi, we are Carla and Sofia, and we are running for Water Polo Social Secs!

We joined UCL Water Polo this year as complete beginners, wanting to try something new for fun, not expecting to stay. We became friends instantly (at the og taster, iykyk), so much so that people have repeatedly asked if we knew each other before. These friendships are exactly what we want to help create.

We've attended every social this year, and less importantly, (almost) every training. We successfully organised the (one and only) beginners Scala, and we hope to organise many more this upcoming year. More events means more chances for friendships to form, the way ours did.

UCL Water Polo is very diverse: undergrads, postgrads, beginners, seasoned players, men & (now more) women, and that's one of its greatest strengths. Our goal is to make sure everyone feels part of the team both inside and outside the pool.

Two Social Secs means double the creativity, double the energy, and double the socials!
