Election post
I want to give back to UCLSS by being the bridge that integrates our small community to a larger landscape of resources, opportunities and growth.
A huge part of sponsorships is money. I will endeavour to increase our access to money by further developing current, and discovering new sponsorship pathways for us to have a larger capacity to finance bigger and better events.
However at its core, sponsorships is more than just finding money, it is the consistent commitment towards relationship building. The type and quality of our partnerships shape our optics to external organisations. Relationships determine opportunities. I will strive to increase our visibility among potential employers by cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships, increasing access to internship, scholarship and employment opportunities.
My robust experience with law, debate and negotiation puts me right in my comfort zone in communicating our value to potential sponsors. I can effectively represent UCLSS because I understand what we can give, and what we want to get. As the largest Singapore Society globally with an attractive talent pool of Singaporeans, UCLSS provides immense potential as a partner. Through competent negotiation, I can accurately portray our selling points to cultivate partnerships which bring in more finances and opportunities, allowing us to access growth.
A vote for Carol is a vote for access - access to resources, access to opportunities, access to growth.
