Having been a Features Section Editor for Pi Online, my time in Pi Media has been nothing short of fun, fruitful and fulfilling. Naturally, I want to give back to the society that has made my time at UCL incredibly meaningful.

While Pi Media is one of the more renowned societies here at UCL, I believe we can go even further. Everyone in Pi Media, no matter section or role, works incredibly hard and I want even more people to see that. As Social Media Officer, one of the ways I intend to achieve that is through strengthening our society’s social media presence.

I am a Canva warrior, a long-time Twitter (now X) stan account owner and a TikTok addict. It's safe to say that I know a thing or two about the ways of social media. From those experiences, I have picked up valuable skills such as video editing and graphic design. Moreover, I am not only caught up with the latest headlines, but also well-versed with the hottest online trends. Trust me when I say the Internet is the playground I grew up on.

To achieve my (hopefully not far-fetched) dreams of making Pi Media worldwide famous, here are some of my plans:

- Ensure that our Instagram accounts have a standardised and cohesive layout
- Ramp up the scale at which we promote every section’s work to get the visibility it deserves
- Collaborate closely with other members of the committee in a joint effort to make sure that our publicity strategy is well-coordinated and impactful

Together, let’s take Pi to greater heights.
