Hello! I'm Sherry and I'm a first year physics student. I'm running to be your treasurer!

I've been a regular attender of physics society events over the course of my first year and I feel so much better for it. Physics society helped me settle in initially through social events where I got to meet other people in my year and talk to older years about what to expect on the course. It has also been massively useful in helping me decide what to do in the future through PHD panels and talks from professors about their own research. I believe that physics society is a very valuable bonus to being a physics student at UCL and for anyone else interested in physics. Therefore I would like to help provide this space for next year.

Needless to say, as someone on a STEM degree I am fully confident in my ability to handle all of physics society's finances. I have also had relevant experience working with other people to run two different societies in secondary school. I would be honoured to have the opportunity to be your treasurer.
