Hi I’d love to take on the role of social sec and organise weekly events for us to look forward to!

I’d be happy to organise anything from hikes to movie/gaming nights, craft/baking related activities, karaoke, collabs with other societies— literally anything, as long as it gets people out of the science library. And obviously, guest speakers from a range of physics-related research/industry backgrounds, to help us discover potential future pathways and keep our options open. 

The goal is to build a cute little physics community where everyone feels welcome to unwind and do something fun with coursemates, complain about modules, or make valuable connections for future prospects (for the linkedin warriors). As an avid planner who enjoys seeing ideas actually materialise, I’d love to help bring this goal to fruition. 

I’d be super open to any event requests if you’d like anything in particular. I might sometimes have an rbf but I promise I’m approachable x
