Philosophy Society: Social Secretary

Hi I’m Alex. My parents are still waiting to hear what I’m going to do with my philosophy degree. In the meantime I’m running to be your social secretary. I will make this society into something worthwhile and promise weekly functions such as pub crawls, talks and socials where people can argue about philosophy other than in the seminar room and have a good time. Philosophy runs on good arguments, but good arguments usually run better after a pint. So a vote for me is a vote for pubs, good events, and a society people actually show up to.
