I care a lot about the culture and environment within UCL Padel. For many people, a sports society can become a core social space and support network opposed to just a place to train and I’d want to help make sure that space feels welcoming, balanced, and supportive for everyone

Padel is naturally social and fast-growing, which is exciting, but it also means inclusion and wellbeing cannot be overlooked, they must be intentional, whether that’s making sure new members feel integrated, competitive players feel supported under pressure, or that socials remain fun without becoming uncomfortable for anyone. I’d aim to be someone approachable and discreet, so members feel they have a clear, trusted point of contact if anything comes up.

I’m also quite observant of group dynamics and think I’d be good at quietly picking up when someone feels left out or overwhelmed. My goal wouldn’t be to over-police the society, but to maintain a positive, respectful culture where people can enjoy the sport and each other’s company.

Overall, I’d want to contribute to keeping UCL Padel not just competitive and social, but genuinely supportive.
