Padel Tennis Club: President

Being President of the Padel Society this year has been one of the best experiences I have lived in this uni. Bringing a society that was created the year before I took on this role and see it grow as well as forming a friendly and comfortable environment, even a family for the members has always been my main aspiration, in the same way it worked for me when I arrived as a first year. I believe the society has grown and improved a lot, focusing more on the social aspect this year and forming a big community with more social events and all-welcome tournaments, trying to make people of all backgrounds and levels feel at home. I feel Padel society will keep growing and growing in the coming years and still being able to contribute to the society I have seen grown couldn't make me happier.

I have decided to create more roles that will hopefully aid me in running the society better for next year. The inclusion of a tournament officer to properly organize tournaments and more frequently, having already done one this year for over 100 people, will definitely be a wise addition; as well as the participation next year in NUPL, looking to bring a more competitive side as well to the Padel Society Community.

Overall, this society has been my home for the last couple of years, and there is nothing I want more than for it to keep growing and me trying to help it do so in any way I can!!
