- Good experience in Muay Thai 🥊
- 2 years in UCLMT with 2 interclub fights
- Experienced enough to understand training, competitions and the struggles beginners have
- Good knowledge of gym/fitness 💪
- I am familiar with fitness knowledge, which is important to understand in a sports society
- Experience in the ring and behind the ring 🥊
- Assisted last year's UFN, this year’s Oxford varsity, and Bristol fight night behind the scenes
- Good insight into the different roles for a successful interclub
What plans do I have in mind?
General fitness sessions on Wednesdays 🏃♀️
- Hill sprints, track runs, swimming, etc.
- Aims to boost our stamina
Making welfare sessions more effective
- During term 1, before UFN (fighter support)
- Dog (Archie) therapy 🐶
Increasing online content about MT that isn’t taught during training 📲
- Injury advice
- Diet and nutrition
- Physical exercise outside training – mobility, callisthenics
- I study pharmacy and have experience with recommending advice backed up by up-to-date medical research
Improvements in separating training for casual members and fighters 👯♀️
- Mondays (overlapping with Mon pad works) and Thurs 6-7 pm
- Strictly experienced people only
- Suited for fighters who want to compete and can't attend Bloodline
- Protects beginners from bad experiences and injuries
Interuniversity sparring sessions 🏫
- Especially near the end of term 2
- Gives beginners a goal to train, without the pressure of competing
