Medical Society: Secretary

Hey everyone! 

My name is Apiraami, 2nd year medical student, and I’m running to be your MedSoc Secretary.

I’m really excited about this role because allows me to help the committee and society run smoothly. I enjoy the planning and organisational side of things, and I’d love to support the committee in turning ideas into well-run events and initiatives.

As Secretary, I would focus on clear communication and strong organisation across the society. I’m happy working behind the scenes to keep things on track — whether that’s helping coordinate central MedSoc events, keeping meeting notes, or ensuring tasks across the committee are progressing.

I’d also work to keep our Notion workspace organised and accessible, helping onboard committee members and making sure projects and deadlines stay on track throughout the year. Alongside this, I’d enjoy writing the weekly MedSoc newsletter, helping share opportunities, tutorials, and events with the wider student body.

Another part of the role I’m excited about is making sure MedSoc members have access to the MedSoc Drive. 

Most importantly, I’d aim to be someone who supports every member of the committee, helps keep communication flowing, and contributes to making MedSoc a well-organised and welcoming society for everyone.
