Be honest with yourself for a second: How many society events have you attended… and forgotten a week later?

I’m running for this role because I want this to be the society that actually changes what you can DO, not just what you hear. Over the past year at UCL, I’ve led teams and built projects from scratch in multiple societies. What I have learned is simple: students don’t need more passive talks and fireside chats. They need REAL leadership experience!

Here is exactly what I will focus on:

→ Leadership you can practise, not just listen to: I will introduce small-team leadership labs, live problem-solving projects, and opportunities where members take real ownership. You will truly learn how to LEAD.

→ Speakers who give real insight: Founders, operators, and managers who speak honestly about pressure, failure, and decision-making. The things LinkedIn posts usually skip, but are so needed!

→ A society people genuinely want to be part of: Sharper branding, smarter collaborations, and events that feel high-value and well-run. I believe that your membership should actually mean something!

But even more importantly, I have a promise...

  • I will run this society with high standards and zero autopilot. If something doesn’t create value for members, we don’t do it. Because trust me... Leadership is not about titles. It’s about responsibility and consistency.

If you want help to build real confidence and real experience, I would truly value your vote. Let’s make leadership practical!
