Election post
Hi, I'm Luna, a first year PPE student!
I’m currently serving as Sub-Career Officer for Japan Society, and I am running for Career Officer. When I first started exploring careers, I remember how confusing and overwhelming everything felt — which is exactly why I want to make the process clearer, more approachable, and less intimidating for everyone.
As Career Officer officer, I will:
- Organise both virtual and on-campus events to explore diverse career paths and opportunities
- Strengthen Inter-year connections so that members can learn from each other’s experiences and feel supported throughout their journeys
- Host beginner-friendly sessions on how “Shūkatsu” actually works step by step.
- Provide more helpful, up-to-date information, such as clearer guidance on applications and timelines
Why me?
-
Proven leadership experience
I have lead my high school brass band club, served as student president, and helped organise MUN events with over 100 participants ー With strong initiative and management skills, I can successfully implement new ideas.
-
Strong communication & recruiter relationships
As Sub-Career Officer, I have built strong relationships with recruiters and agencies, which I can leverage to bring diverse and meaningful career opportunities to our members.
