As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatulllahi wa barakatuhu!

I want to be Welfare Officer for ISOC because I believe a community is only as strong as the care it shows its members. Within a large society like UCL Islamic Society, it is easy for people to feel unseen, particularly students navigating academic pressure, identity, faith, and personal struggles at the same time.

Welfare is therefore not simply about responding to problems when they arise, but about creating a culture where people feel safe, supported, and valued before they even need to ask for help.

I hope to help the community in any way possible!

Hana Rizmi

Assalamu alaikum,

I want to help the welfare of the Muslim community on campus and deliver events looking after students’ wellbeing. I aspire to create a welcoming community for all. Examples of events I’d love to deliver would be speaker events, arts and crafts and group discussions.

Thank you
