As mentorship exec this year, working with the mentorship team, I've seen how the system runs, so I know what works well and what can be improved. Speaking on panels throughout the year, I understand both sides of the process - what applicants are stressed about and what mentors should be helping with. As VP I'd focus on:
- Clearer communication between mentors and mentees
- More consistent events across the year
- Making mentorship actually useful as opposed to just a name for the system
I want the mentorship programme to be something people genuinely rely on during the Internship season, not something they forget exists
