Finding your people, wherever you're from

Election post

Status
Elected
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

Missing the sunshine from home? A language that feels effortless? Or the magical job descriptions that say "no sponsorship required"?

Being an international student is exciting...but it can be confusing, lonely, and occasionally involve Googling things like "how do Oyster cards work."

I want to create more spaces where international students can meet people, share stories, and realise we’re all figuring this out together. Think relaxed coffee chats, cultural nights, and  “London survival” sessions

Whether you're looking for new friends or just trying to survive the cold London rain, I’ve got you.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
  1. Experience Representing Students.

As a Student Representative, I communicate with students, gather feedback, and work with staff to make sure different voices are heard.

  1. Experience Running Events.

As a UCL Student Ambassador, I've helped organise and deliver all kinds of events, which means I know how to coordinate, communicate, ad make things run smoothly.

  1. Leadership.

As Vice Presidents of high school Student Union, I spend years organising activities, working with teams, and building communities.

In short, I know how to listen, organise, and bring people together, exactly what this role needs.
