With a pluricultural background (being of Swiss, Italian, Greek origin yet growing up in the Middle East) combined with a strong passion for global affairs through my degree in Global Humanitarian Studies, I therefore would love to stand for the role of Circum Mundum Vice-President. Circum Mundum offers a vital platform (particularly in the current political climate) for thoughtful student engagement with global politics, and I would be honored to help strengthen and shape its voice within the International Relations Society. I believe I am well suited to this role as I combine strong organisational skills with a genuine enthusiasm for collaborative editorial work. I have previously overseen editorial projects and contributed to several journals during my schooling in the UAE, experiences that developed both my strength and passion for student journalism and my ability to work within various teams. Organisation is something that comes naturally to me; (me and my Google Calendar against the world!), having previously trained as a professional ballet dancer while balancing academic studies and multiple extracurricular commitments, I have developed strong discipline, time management, and attention to detail, all of which I would bring to this role. Additionally, I am particularly interested in supporting the development of the Circum Mundum podcast as another avenue for engaging with international affairs!
