Hockey Club (Women's): 1XI Captain

Hello everyone, I’m Liv and would love to stand for First Team Hockey Captain.

 I am dedicated to this team, with hockey being a passion of mine. More hockey related I would aim to: Lead by example on and off the pitch, support every player in reaching their full potential and helping us compete at the highest level possible. I would do this through my leadership style, giving 100% effort at every training and match and emphasizing communication between everyone. Something I particularly liked this year was the families within the team and non-drinking socials.

Therefore, some things I would love to do next year, furthering ideas of what we did this year is:

1)    Movie/ Cheese and Wine nights – building from bakeoff and cheese on the train this year I thought that both were great bonding and would love to build from this.

2)    Pub Quiz nights – drinking or not

3)    Coffee catchups – nothing more I love than a coffee and just another alternative with lower social battery required

UCL hockey has done so much for me this year and I would be so excited to be able to contribute to that culture with my support, dedication and social attendance…This team has so much potential, I would love to aim to achieve something special this season and make at least top 3 in the League next year (guaranteeing now that we are getting promoted unless LSE score 1 goal every 3 minutes of the game)

I would love to lead this team!
