I’m standing for Events Officer because I think history should be experienced, not just studied. Some of the best parts of studying history come from conversations, debates, and storytelling, and I’d love to create events that bring that energy into the society.

Alongside talks and museum visits, I’d like to organise more creative events such as historical debates where members argue from the perspective of historical figures, themed socials set in different historical eras, “history mystery” nights where we investigate unsolved historical questions, and walking tours of London that uncover the hidden historical stories around us.

My goal is simple: to make History Society events things people are genuinely excited to attend, and create a space where curiosity about the past turns into great conversations and a strong community.
