Anouk Quirk

I would love to continue as Third Year Representative for the Healthcare Business Society at UCL, having thoroughly enjoyed serving as Second Year Representative this year. Over the past year, I’ve gained valuable insight into how the society operates, how to engage students effectively, and how to bridge the gap between healthcare, innovation, and business in a way that truly resonates with our cohort. I’ve prioritised clear communication between the committee and year group, actively encouraged attendance at events, and supported initiatives that connect members with meaningful opportunities in consulting, biotech, and healthcare entrepreneurship.

Beyond professional events, I’ve also enjoyed working closely with the committee to strengthen the society’s sense of community. Helping organise social activities such as pub quizzes and committee dinners has shown me the importance in building an engaged, motivated network. 

As a third year, I would bring continuity, experience, and a stronger understanding of what students are looking for at this stage, particularly around internships, graduate roles, and navigating competitive career pathways. Having already built relationships across year groups and within the committee, I’m confident I could contribute even next year. I’m proactive, reliable, and genuinely passionate about the intersection of healthcare and business, and I would love the opportunity to build on this year’s progress and help the society continue to grow.
