Harry Potter Society: Welfare Officer

Being at university, you are faced with a lot of opportunities to grow and develop but sometimes all of that can feel very overwhelming and you can easily feel like you do not belong. Harry Potter society has been one of those places where I feel I can just enjoy myself, without shame and judgement about loving this very niche thing from my childhood. It has brought me so much joy from getting to know so many people over the past year and having an absolute blast. As welfare officer, I wish to help this society grow even more so we can have even more fun times together. I want to help make this society a safe space for everyone and try to make your university experience, even slightly less jarring. Here's to the next year being filled with smiles and laughter and of course, plenty of magic!
