Friends of Médecins sans Frontières Society: President

Hello everyone! My name is Izzy and I am standing for President of Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières (FoMSF) society this year because I want to lead the society with enthusiasm and commitment. Having served as Welfare Officer this year, I have developed strong insight into how our committee functions, how our members engage, and where we have the greatest potential to grow.

Alongside my role as Welfare Officer within FoMSF this year, I have developed leadership experience through positions in other academic and extracurricular activities, where I have coordinated teams, organised events, and strengthened my ability to lead collaboratively.

As President, I would implement a structured fundraising strategy at the start of the year, with termly events and society collaborations to expand our reach. I would prioritise planning, and consistent promotion of the society to maximise turnout and impact. My goal is not only to increase the funds we raise for MSF, but to also showcase the work that MSF does and inspire more students to engage with the society and MSF's work.

Overall, I hope to lead FoMSF in a way that grows our impact on campus while continuing to support and promote the vital work that MSF carries out around the world.
