Lisa Hwang

I am running for Secretary General because I understand the central importance of this role for a successful EISPS society. This degree means a lot to me, as I see everyday how it brings together students from different backgrounds who share similar passions.

I have the communication and organisational skills necessary for this role. I have participated in many public speaking contests and was member of my school's student committee. I believe that neat organisation, clear communication and efficiency are the pillars of a thirving society. I am dynamic, proactive and always ready to help with whatever needs to be done. I naturally take initiative and do not need pressure to act. As a member of many socities with a wide range of interests, I am used to evolving in different environments and ready to ensure smooth communication between members of the society, committee officers and external partners.

If elected, I am looking forward to organize more events that help every student in our course feel included and supported. Creating a welcoming and tight-knit society is the first step before developing further events in collaboration with others societies. I believe our society has a lot of potential in many fields, would it be career opportunities, academic discussion or social events.

I would love to have a chance to put my communication, adaptability and organisational skills at the service of the EISPS Society.
