Ares Dafas

Hi everyone! My name is Ares, and I study Theoretical Physics. I’m excited to be running for Events Executive at UCL Entrepreneurs.

Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed getting involved in the society, especially through hackathons and partner events. My greatest highlight was winning the Brain HacQ Hackathon organised through the society, which showed me how powerful these events can be for bringing together ambitious people and turning ideas into real projects.

If elected, I’d love to help organise engaging events and bridge the gap between casual attendees and locked-in founders, whether you’re just curious about startups and entrepreneurship or already building something. I’d also work more closely with the other officers to bring fresh event ideas so members have more opportunities to learn, collaborate and meet like-minded people. I’ve also taken on leadership roles before, both in school and outside, so I’m comfortable organising teams and helping ideas turn into well-run events that people genuinely enjoy.
