Fama Ndoye

I everyone! I’m Fama and I am excited to nominate myself to continue as Welfare Officer for the next academic year.

Over the past year, serving as Welfare Officer has been a great experience, and I am proud of the positive and supportive environment we have built within the society. My priority throughout this role has always been ensuring that every committee member feels comfortable, valued, and able to enjoy their experience beyond just organising events.

This year, I organised several committee dinners which are social moments outside of Union activities, giving us the opportunity to relax, bond, and strengthen relationships as a team because a society functions best when its members feel connected and supported.

As Welfare Officer, I worked to make sure that society activities and events were accessible and inclusive so that all members could participate comfortably and confidently.

Alongside this role, I currently serve as the 2nd year Course Rep, which has further strengthened my ability to listen actively, represent others’ concerns, and advocate for student wellbeing, qualities needed for this role.

If re-elected, I hope to build on the foundations established this year by continuing to promote wellbeing, inclusivity, and strong team cohesion within the society.

I would be honoured to continue serving the society as Welfare Officer
Thank you for your trust and consideration and vote for me :) !
