Election post
I’m standing for a role in the Biopharmaceutical Society because I’m genuinely interested in the industry and I see how valuable this society can be for students who want clearer direction. It’s one of the few spaces that bridges science with real-world careers, and I’d love to contribute more to that.
I’ve benefited from being part of it, whether through talks, networking opportunities, or learning more about different career paths, and I want to help expand those opportunities for others. I think we can make the society even more impactful by strengthening industry connections, organising practical career-focused events, and making it easier for members to feel confident about breaking into biotech, pharma, or healthtech.
I’m standing because I care about making the society proactive and useful, but also genuinely helpful for students navigating competitive industries, and I’m willing to put in the work to make that happen.
