Hi! I'm Aayesha, and I'm applying to be your Nudgeathon Director for 2026-27 🎉 Here's why I think I'd be great at it:

  • I’ve done this before: I competed in the London Nudgeathon last year and received a special commendation from the UN FAO for a behavioural intervention addressing a real-world policy challenge. I know what makes the participant experience exciting, and I know what could be even better.
  • I’m passionate about behavioural science: I’m currently part of an applied project at BIS, working on behaviour change interventions for UCL's wellbeing app. Before that, I designed applied intervention programmes at a health startup and conducted mixed-methods research translating behavioural science into real-world use. This isn't just a hobby for me, it's what I want to do.
  • I can actually run a big event: At Round Square, I led a 20-person committee and organised an international event with 150+ attendees across 22 schools. I'm comfortable managing teams, deadlines, and moving parts at the same time.
  • I want to make this year's Nudgeathon genuinely ambitious: Better industry partnerships, stronger mentor matching, and an experience that leaves participants feeling like they've done something that actually matters.

If you want a director who is qualified, genuinely passionate about the field, and has the organisational track record to deliver, I'd love your vote! :)
