Zoe Lee

Hi everyone, I am Zoe and I am running for President. I have loved being part of APAC Law Society and attending all the events this year. I hope to lead this society and run even more events this coming year. 

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

As Director of Public Relations for a Model United Nations conference, I led publicity strategy, managed outreach to schools and sponsors, and supervised a PR team to ensure timely delivery of promotions. This experience is directly relevant to expanding the Society’s visibility, strengthening external partnerships and securing sponsorship.

As Chair and Student Coach of an MUN Team, I chaired and trained delegates and prepared teams for external conferences. This equips me to moderate panels, host professional events and ensure discussions are structured and purposeful. 

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

As President, I hope to build a more engaging environment for all members. My initiatives include:

• Strengthening ties and partnerships with law firms and chambers in the APAC area and inviting speakers with strong Asia-Pacific exposure to speak at panels. 
• Increase cultural and networking events such as events and pub quizzes to strengthen community engagement. 
• Introduce an APAC-focused competitions stream centered on cross-border practice and Asia-Pacific market developments.
