Alternative Proteins Society: Treasurer

I've been the society's treasurer, social media officer, and currently president across all 4 years of my study at UCL so far, and I would love to keep supporting this community going forward when it needs an extra hand!

I believe my reliability and genuine interest in the long-term growth of the Alternative Protein Society makes me a strong candidate for the Treasurer role. 

Throughout the academic year I have consistently attended guest speaker talks and engaged within the space beyond campus. It is to my disbelief that, enabled through this society, I have progressed from writing my EPQ on Cellular Agriculture in college (2023), to attending impactful events such as the MEVO 2026 Conference involving pioneers and key drivers in the field. I truly care about ensuring the society has the financial stability to continue hosting and securing access to similarly high-quality, and insightful events. 

As treasurer, I would manage funds transparently and strategically, understanding that strong budgeting and responsible resource allocation underpin everything from securing speakers to maintaining collaborations. I look forward to developing the role further and contributing to the committee team.
