Over several years of working in student leadership, organising multiple conferences, and being a team lead in the last two 180DC cycles, I’ve developed strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills that have prepared me for the role of Consulting Director. I thrive on connecting with people, making the responsibility of maintaining client relationships and guiding consultants extremely appealing to me. The social impact aspect of my projects has been really fulfilling, and I want every consultant to feel that sense of purpose by ensuring projects are clear, structured, and meaningful from the outset. I also hope to be a consistent source of support and a steady, friendly presence so teams feel comfortable seeking help when required.

I also believe consultants should receive pre-cycle training to build key skills such as problem structuring, business tools, and professional conduct. This would increase confidence and ensure that the quality of outcomes is more consistent across teams. Finally, I would like to propose a 12-week summer internship cycle. The longer duration would allow first-year students to develop skills and experience before applying for competitive penultimate-year internships, while also strengthening client relationships and retention through longer-term engagement.

I look forward to being part of the 180DC team and working to build something meaningful together, helping connect our students to the companies that need them most.
