Election post
I'm standing for President of the Jain Society because I want to bring our community together in a way that’s modern, engaging, and truly impactful. Jainism isn’t just about tradition; it’s a way of life that promotes sustainability, non-violence, and self-growth—values that are more relevant today than ever.
I want to create a space where everyone, from lifelong practitioners to those just exploring their roots, feels welcome. Whether it’s hosting insightful talks, organizing meaningful seva (service) projects, or just making sure our events have great food (because let’s be honest, that matters), I want to lead with a fresh perspective while staying true to our core principles.
This isn’t just about carrying forward traditions—it’s about making them meaningful for our generation. If you believe in that, then let’s make it happen together!
