As the previous welfare officer, I have experienced how to interact with different people. I have also had some experience creating online social media posts for UCL wash last year during the interim period, managing the instagram account as well as creating and updating UCL wash's linktree page.
If elected, I aim to further UCL Wash's standing online. I will focus all my energy to improving our online presence, by creating more posts on different platforms, such as Twitter or LinkedIn. I will also regularly update and post about different news and events around the world relating to UCL WASH, to provide more information and web traffic with our members.

Hi! I have learned about the UN's sustainability goals in the past, it was a brief encounter, but it led me to work with several charities over the years to combat goals 1. No poverty, 2. Zero Hunger, 3. Good Health and 14. Life Below Water. Working with NGOs that cover these goals allowed me to develop my content editing skills, which I believe will be very beneficial to WASH society if I were elected as next year's marketing officer. I became more involved with WASH's goal when I came across the statistics on water scarcity, lack of access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. The results were appalling and unacceptable, and the pandemic seems to have only exacerbated this. By joining WASH's committee, I hope to use my skills to help WASH promote and communicate with its members and work towards the UN's 6th sustainability goal. And this is the reason why I would like to serve as WASH Society's marketing officer in next year's committee.
