Swimming Club: Men's Competitive Captain

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well :)

Most of you will know me from this last year, or if you're just joining, then I am excited to meet you soon!

I have been a competitive co-captain for the last term, and want to apply again for 2022-23 as it was a really fun role, and I enjoyed meeting everyone on the team, whether through training, meets, or sports nights! I hope to keep up the competitive spirit of the club, and make sure everyone enjoys their time at UCLSC as much as possible!

I hope to bring some tough sessions this year, and would love to hear all your thoughts on how to improve the society (ideas, sets, socials etc!)

I am applying to be the Men's 2022/2023 competitive captain because of my long-standing commitment to the sport of swimming and desire to aid the club's growth and performance. With a 9 year history of competitive swimming at Bicester Swim Club, I have observed what it takes to be a successful captain for a team. If selected to be the 2022/2023 fitness captain, I plan to work co-operatively alongside the female captain to make the most of the pool time we receive as a club. Specifically, I aim to produce swim sets that are both suited and effective in enabling maximum performance for the competitive swimmers, while ensuring this is done in a fun and enjoyable manner. I hope that my experience as a competitive swimmer can be put to good use and I look forward to the future of the club.
