I am standing for this position as I believe I can utilise my skillset to consolidate the needs of this great club. From maintaining a healthy and stable relationship with the union through open and honest communication to building on the current inclusive and welcoming nature of this team by giving everybody a voice, I will strive to amplify this club's illustrious reputation. I am confident that I can swiftly resolve any inter-committee conflict through a diplomatic approach and voicing everybody's opinions, making sure that everybody shares the same goal of ensuring that this club grows exponentially into a treasured asset of University College London.
As the incumbent Vice-President this year, I believe that I will bring some necessary experience for the Kommittee next year. I have had a fair amount of involvement in administrative duties this year, and have reflected on where I have done well, but more importantly, where I could have improved. With this knowledge, I hope to ensure next year's Kommittee functions even more smoothly than the last, as we work to rebuild our klub and make it a stand out institution at UCL. Furthermore, I believe that my love for beating the Poly, my sub-par chat, and above all my konstant displays of kommitment to the boys, makes me well suited to this much koveted position.
I am standing with the aim to promote a culture of commitment in the club and to focus on restoring both the first and second team to a standard of truly competitive rugby. I would also aim to make a drive to engage with current members, and attract more new members at the start of next year. In addition to attracting new members I would strive to cultivate a positive and progressive relationship with the UCL Student's Union in an effort to attract more support for UCL Men's Rugby. I would also like the opportunity to promote more events based around the club such as a dinner or ball at the end of the season. As vice-president it would also be a priority of mine to ensure that regular trainings run, they are of a high standard, and that we have a place to train. The inclusive and welcoming environment of the club is also of great importance to me and I would seek to maintain the atmosphere that already exists within the club. With regards to varsity I would aim to promote the game as an event as much as possible and explore restoring the game to the Allianz. I believe that as vice-president I could make a positive impact on the culture and running of the club along with bringing some of my own new ideas to progress the club as much as possible.
