Raising and Giving Society: Vice President

I really enjoy RAG events and would love to be a part of the committee to help it grow as I really like the idea of making events and normalise giving to charities while having a fun time.

My previous experiences include being volunteer director for the Animal Rights Society where I organised many events. I am therefore familiar with approaching different organisations and planning bottom-up events.

I am eager to help the Raising and Giving Society bounce back after a difficult COVID-19 pandemic era, and am excited to have the opportunity to drive this resurgence. When I participated in the first UCL RAG event since the pandemic, I was struck by the passion of all involved, and I feel this is an environment in which I could ably support an incoming president in the running of the club. I would also like to build on my committee experience, having served as chairman of the men’s hockey club, the experience from which I believe would greatly benefit me in the role of vice-president.
