Best Event
Artificial Intelligence Society- ClimateHack.AI
ClimateHack.AI brought together 20 global universities, with participants developing machine learning models to help tackle climate change. The best models from this year’s event were integrated into the National Grid.

A unique service ran by students, for students, that continues to support our volunteers and community as a whole.
Opportunities Award
MedTech Society
Through their conferences, workshops, and Mentorship Programme, MedTech members are able to build their skillsets, forge career pathways, and find out more about the industry.
Diversity and Inclusion Award
Gender and Feminism Society
This Society has created a community that strives for a more just and equitable world, and has an unwavering commitment to fostering an environment free from bias and discrimination.
Cultural Society Impact Award
Hindu Society
Hindu society sold out tickets to their main three events, including their week-long Diwali celebrations. Their Rangeela event was the biggest it has ever been, with over 200 performers putting on a show for more than 700 people.
Innovation and Development Award
Space Society
This Society has arranged a wide range of events and activities, including a Women in Space tour at the Natural History Museum, a Mars Rover Demonstration and even an online Space Conference.
Innovative Online Engagement Award
Pokémon Society
This Society has an active Discord server to bring members together online and voice chats so people can connect whilst playing. They have set up the Inter-University Pokémon Society network, as well as a London-based network.
Best New Society
Engineers In Action Society
Since its inception, Engineers In Action (EIA) Society has been continuously growing. Through fundraising and technical design work, EIA will be building a real footbridge in Eswatini this summer.
Personality of the Year Award
Danilo Paganelli
Danilo is incredibly involved with dozens of societies. Despite his busy schedule, he is always enthusiastic, hardworking, and caring. He has a talent for running events, provides support as our Welfare Officer and he has had such a positive impact on so many people as a result.
Overall Society of the Year
Pokémon Society
The Pokemon Society has been an integral part of its members university experience This Society runs a wide variety of events that inclusive and welcoming. They also have an active online community and are even working to expand their network to other universities.
