Zero Food Waste
Zero Food Waste has been helping redistribute unsold food for more than six years, and this year worked with UCL East to distribute goods to charities in East London.

Danilo Paganelli
For his outstanding work organising multiple events, his ongoing dedication to so many societies, working tirelessly to tackle loneliness and being open and encouraging to all.
Volunteering Club of the Year
Hockey Club (RUMS Men's)
Through campaigning, concerts, and pub quizzes, the RUM’s Men’s Hockey Club has raised thousands of pounds for local community initiatives.
Volunteering Society of the Year
Student Action Against Homelessness Society
This year they significantly expanded their outreach work, partnering with other orgs and experts to support London’s most vulnerable.
Oliver Hare Altruism Award
Claudia Low
Claudia has volunteered extensively with people of all ages through teaching, tutoring and coaching – they have volunteered at homelessness shelters, led our Zero Food Waste project and been this year’s President of Student Action Against Homelessness Society.
The Oliver Hare Altruism Award is named after UCL Graduate Olly Hare, who was passionate about music, dancing, sports, and giving back. Olly's Future is a foundation set up in his name that is working to help deliver suicide prevention initiatives, particularly for young people.
