As we approach the Christmas break, we want to make sure you know what support is available – both on campus and beyond. Whether you're staying local, need someone to talk to, or just want to check what services are open, here’s everything you need to know.

Marshgate Building Access

The Marshgate building will be closed throughout the entire winter break, from 5:30pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 to 9:00am on Monday 5 January 2026

One Pool Street Building Access

Throughout the whole period, One Pool Street will be open to staff and students 7am to 10pm, and will be open to residents 24 hours. The building will not be open to the public on closure days (24th December and 4th January inclusive).

Digital Accessibility Hub open 7am to 10pm every day to students authorised to use it.

Computer cluster 313 available to staff and students until 6pm, residents until 11pm accessed by the internal accommodation door.

Specialist cluster 101 available to authorised staff and students until 9.30pm.  

UCL East campus catering outlets

One Pool Street Café 8:00am - 4:30pm
Marshgate Café 8:00am - 6:00pm
Marshgate Refectory 11:30am - 2:30pm for lunch
Staff Common Room closed

On 11 December, the Student Support and Wellbeing space will open from 9-11am and be closed for the afternoon.

On 15 December, the space will be open from 9-11am and be closed for the afternoon.

The Student Support and Wellbeing space will be open until the 23 December and then re-open on the 5 January.
