Putting students at the heart of the celebrations

From February to December 2026, UCL200 will bring our community together through a vibrant programme which celebrates UCL’s founding values and highlights the breadth of UCL’s ground-breaking work showcasing our local and global impact.

We are so excited to be launching the UCL200 Student Engagement Fund, a dedicated funding pot for clubs and societies to run activity during the bicentenary year. Split evenly across each term in 2026, the fund will encourage students to get involved in creating celebrations that will shape UCL’s 200th anniversary, helping to make UCL200 truly student-led. Think events, panel discussions, workshops, trips or legacy projects - nothing is off limits!

What is the UCL200 Fund?

In addition to membership income, ticket income and any grants awarded, clubs and societies can apply for additional funding pots, such as the UCL200 Student Engagement Fund.

The UCL200 Student Engagement Fund has been developed to empower students and provide financial support to enhance activity across UCL’s bicentennial year, offering an exciting opportunity to add a unique UCL200 perspective to clubs and societies.   This extra funding can be used for a range of activity to mark this milestone year in UCL history.
