Two weeks. One campus. Unlimited creativity.
This June, the artsUCL Fringe Festival will bring campus to life with theatre, comedy, dance, cabaret, music, drag, stand‑up, musical theatre, and everything in between - come and experience anything, everything, everywhere.
New This Year, Here Forever
Launching this year as part of the UCL200 celebrations, the artsUCL Fringe Festival will redefine Term 3 at UCL for years to come. Inspired by iconic Fringe festivals across the globe, this new celebration of performance aims to unleash the creative power of UCL students, champion every form of performance art, and turn our campus into a buzzing cultural playground - a truly inclusive space where everyone feels welcome!

From Monday 1 June - Saturday 13 June, the artsUCL Fringe Festival will run alongside the UCL200 Summer Festival, spreading across Mully’s, the Institute of Education, the Bloomsbury Studio, Camden People Theatre, and more.
Expect live busking between venues, pop‑up performances, buzzing bars, street‑food vibes, and the thrill of wandering into something unexpected. UCL will come alive over the summer with creativity, colour, and noise - this is the beginning of a new UCL tradition!
Put On A Show
What sets Fringe Festivals apart is the huge variety of work on display, and the artsUCL Fringe Festival will be no different, but to do that we need your help. Fringe Festivals thrive on variety, boldness and experimentation, and we want you to be part of it all!
Now is the time to put on that show you’ve always wanted to do, test out the stand‑up set you’ve rehearsed in your bedroom, debut the original song you’ve been writing, or try something completely new. This is your moment to take part – the artsUCL Fringe Festival is your platform to take risks, to explore ideas, to create something unforgettable!

Applications for the artsUCL Fringe Festival open on Monday 2 February 2026, so make sure you follow artsUCL on Instagram, sign up to the artsUCL Newsletter, and keep an eye on the artsUCL Fringe Festival landing page, to stay informed!
Anyone can put on a show, and artsUCL will be here to support you every step of the way.
Come and See Something
As with any Fringe Festival, you should expect an eclectic variety of performances at the artsUCL Fringe Festival: funny, strange, moving, chaotic, polished, experimental, and everything in between.

FYI, Fringe Festivals are often where the next big thing begins. Fleabag, Six: The Musical, The Play That Goes Wrong, Baby Reindeer and Operation Mincemeat all began life at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so who knows, you might stumble across a show that becomes a global hit, or simply discover something brilliant you’ll never forget.
And with all tickets just £3, and irresistible vibes for free, it’s the easiest “yes” all year – tickets go live on Monday 4 May 2026.
