Living in this vibrant city can be both exciting and a bit daunting. But we're here to help! You will always find super friendly and fun people in the Big Smoke to explore the city with, right here, at the Students' Union.
We've spent years helping students explore the city. Our local knowledge has been shaped by generations of UCL students who have discovered hidden gems, and unforgettable experiences across the city. We know the places that make London special, and we're excited to share them with you.
Of course, London's famous landmarks are worth seeing, and we can take you to all those sights! But, there is so much more waiting beyond the postcard views. From local markets and independent bookshops to community festivals, hidden museums and creative districts, London has so much to explore.
That's why we're on a mission to help you explore the city spaces, the areas that only true Londoners would know.

Every Discover London event is designed to help you meet people, start conversations and make connections. Whether you're new to London, new to the UK or simply looking to explore more of the city, you'll be joining a community of students who are just as curious as you are.
Before long, you'll have your own favourite neighbourhoods, cafés, walking routes and friends to share them with.
We also know that London is an expensive city, often making it hard to do and see all the things you want to. Our events have been built with this in mind, and are low-commitment, low-cost so that you are always getting the best student deal.
