We support UCL students to develop and run community volunteering projects. We encourage students to work as part of a team and support clubs and societies as well as as well as individual students and groups unaffiliated with the Students' Union to develop their projects.

We provide students with regular support and guidance, project management training, and funding of up to £500 to help with running costs. Navigate the tiles below to find out the different ways that you can start a community volunteering project.

If you've any questions or would like more information, email the Student-Led Projects Team.

My planning and organisation skills were greatly improved! I have also gained invaluable knowledge and patience on working with teenagers!

Khafil Animashaun, Book Club

Leading the Language Skills Pool Project allowed me to join my passion for languages with a wonderful opportunity to help local communities. It is definitely worth all the effort!
