We recently held a by-election for Societies Officer (one of our student officer positions) which became vacant as the person elected in March 2025 was no longer able to take up the role. Between 12 November and 28 November, we held a by-election for Societies Officer.
However, it came to our attention that not all students who were eligible to nominate themselves were appropriately notified of this opportunity. After consultation with our Returning Officer, we will re-run the by-election for Societies Officer to ensure the election is fair and open to all who can participate. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
To nominate or vote for this position, you must have been a member of a Students' Union affiliated Society for at least 28 days.
