Election post
WE WANT BETTER.
I don't want to talk about my problems, I want to hear yours. Here's how:
Weekly feedback hours. In person. Every Friday for 2 hours. On campus. So I can hear you.
Through a new, dedicated Instagram account I will publish updates on every meeting, so you know what the person you voted for is doing.
I will be responsible for ensuring the SU is true to its mission of improving your life at UCL - tackling issues of home, international, under/postgrad students. I will be responsible for ensuring the SU is accountable and efficient, and that it achieves its charitable objectives.
As the winner of the 2025 Engineering Rep of the Year Award, I recognise the work that needs to be done at UCL.
Whether it affects 1 or 10,000 students, all issues deserve to be heard and tackled. Last year, despite being a first year student, I was elected as a Lead Departmental Rep.
I pushed deadlines, hosted 3 new events, consistently communicated and therefore won the Engineering Rep of the Year Award. I made dozens of strong connections in my department and faculty. I endeavour to continue my proactivity, communication and dedication in this role to ensure you have the best time at UCL.
Proactivity | Communication | Transparency
Currently serving in 4 UCL society committees and serving as Lead Departmental Rep last year, I have proven myself to be reliable. Seemingly the only first year, I was awarded the Engineering Rep of the Year award after working really hard for my course mates.
I believe I can actually demonstrate the skills others claim to have. I haven't promised any arbitrary changes, because I value your opinion and won't act without it.
I ask for your trust in being able to complete my duties and I promise proactivity, strong communication and total transparency.
