What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
  • Expand inclusive career opportunities and visibility for LGBTQ+ students by partnering with employers who value diversity. 💼

     

  • Launch mentorship programmes that build confidence, authenticity, and resilience in professional spaces.

     

  • Fund community events that connect and empower estranged and isolated students. 
     
  • Partner with welfare and housing teams to improve resources for LGBTQ+ students 🏠

     

  • Fund the community events, creative queer spaces that YOU want! 
     
  • Ensure all events and initiatives prioritise accessibility, inclusion, and authentic representation 🤲🏼  


 

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
  • Proven finance experience from Deloitte and working as a finance administrator for our Students’ Union UCL 🏦
  • President of Medical Innovation and Enterprise Events Team, I know how to use the funds where they matter the most

Beyond spreadsheets and statements 📈, I care deeply about creating a space where LGBTQ+ students feel seen, supported, and proud. 

I know what it means to show up as your true self, and I want to make sure our funds go toward events, opportunities, and initiatives that bring people together, whether that’s through professional development, social connection, or pure joy. 🤗

  • Proven professional experience across UCL’s Students’ Union, combining financial knowledge with genuine care

     

  • Manage budgets transparently to ensure every penny supports our LGBTQ+ community.

     

  • I’ll fund the events  YOU  want — from queer socials 🥳 and creative spaces 🎨 to professional development 💼 and wellbeing initiatives 🌺 

     

  •  I’ll push for better mental health support and stronger welfare links for estranged students.

     

  • Advocate for wellbeing, inclusion, and visibility across all activities.

     

  • I’ll ensure our network is financially strong, empowered, and full of pride and belonging.
