What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I believe listening and communication are key to being an effective Faculty Representative. In high school, my fellows and I did the investigation about schedule issues for senior students and presented our findings to school leaders, which led to improvements. Through experience, I learned the importance of communication, thus I will stay closely connected with students across Arts and Humanities, gather their feedback, and express their ideas clearly in meetings. I aim to ensure every student’s voice is heard, respected, and can lead to real change within the Faculty.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, I hope to strengthen communication between students, departments, and the Faculty. I want to make sure feedback from different courses is collected regularly and shared effectively in meetings. My goal is to help create a more transparent and supportive environment where students can see their opinions lead to visible improvements. I also hope to use this opportunity to further develop my communication and expression skills through collaboration with others.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Students should vote for me because I am responsible, approachable, and genuinely care about representing others. I believe listening and communication are the most important qualities of a Faculty Representative, and I am committed to practising both. I want to build a positive and collaborative relationship between students and the Faculty, where feedback is valued and acted upon. My goal is to make real, meaningful changes that benefit students across Arts and Humanities faculty.
