What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I am new to the UK and UCL, and I recognise that my colleagues may share similar feelings and needs. Coming from a university in America, I bring new perspectives and invite others to share their experiences. Having lived abroad for most of my life, I’ve developed cultural intelligence, openness, and approachability. I believe new experiences are vital for growth, and I’m eager to step into this role. Adapting to different environments has taught me resilience, and I look forward to engaging with my peers, fostering a supportive community, and learning from each other as we navigate this journey together

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

My most important goal is to create an environment where students feel heard and empowered to both applaud and critique the aspects of their education that help them flourish. All members of the UCL community share the same goal: to provide a personalized education where both students and staff feel supported in their efforts to expand knowledge and make a meaningful impact in the world. I hope to bring the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences closer to the student body, fostering collaboration and together broadening our horizons.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

I genuinely want to make students feel comfortable and motivated in their faculty and studies. Many underestimate the impact they can have, which can hinder communication of their issues or ideas. UCL and this faculty encompass a vast array of cultures and experiences. I value new perspectives and believe that while individual experiences are unique, they often overlap with others. The opportunity to gather and share these experiences with the right audience is both exciting and essential for the development and prosperity of our future workforce. Together, we can foster a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
