Ukrainian Society: Communications Manager

Hello! I’m a first-year PPE student at UCL and I’m standing for Communications Manager.

I’ve really enjoyed being part of the Ukrainian Society and the strong sense of community it creates for Ukrainian students at UCL. It is not only a place where we connect with people from home, but also a space where we can share ideas, experiences and support one another.

I want to help keep our community informed, engaged and connected, and support meaningful events and initiatives for the society. I am passionate about strengthening our community, improving communication, and helping make the society engaging and impactful.

As Communications Manager, I would aim to ensure that members feel informed about what the society is doing and have opportunities to get involved. I would also love to support initiatives that bring people together, highlight Ukrainian culture and perspectives, and create interesting opportunities for discussion and engagement within our community.

At the same time, I believe our society can play an important role in sharing Ukrainian culture, perspectives and experiences with the wider UCL community. I would love to help ensure that the Ukrainian Society remains a strong, visible and supportive space for Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine at UCL.
