I would love to be re-elected as Vice President. Having already served in this role last year, I have actively helped organise and run the society, ensuring everything operated smoothly and professionally. Being born and raised in Morocco, I truly care about representing our culture in the best way possible. I would be honoured to continue building on this work and helping the society grow even further this year.
Hi everyone !
My name is Selma and I’m a BASc student at UCL. I’m running for Vice President of the Moroccan Society because being Moroccan, especially while living abroad, means a lot to me. Our culture, our language, our traditions, create a feeling of home that is very special, and I want to help strengthen that feeling within our community.
Moving to London made me realise how important it is to have a space where you feel understood and connected. I want to make the Moroccan Society a real support system, a family away from home. I want to help create moments where we celebrate who we are, whether that’s through cultural events, football screenings, social dinners, or collaborations with other societies.I’m someone who is organised, approachable, and genuinely invested. I like bringing people together and making sure everyone feels included.
As Vice President, I would work closely with the committee to make sure our ideas turn into real, well-organised events, and that every member feels valued. Finally, I would say that I care about this community. I want us to feel proud, united, and visible at UCL. I would be truly honoured to represent and support you all this year.
